This AEMMP Records compilation highlights the work of 12 Columbia College Chicago student bands formed as part of the Recording & Performance Ensemble (RPE) class, the capstone course of the Music Department's Contemporary, Urban, and Popular Music program.
The album title was inspired by the fact that this is a hand-picked compilation featuring the best song from each band, according to the AEMMP Records team. The sheer musicianship and expertly written and recorded pieces on this album will leave you as satisfied as having just taken a bite out of a delicious ripe apple!
